Quite frankly we are a little ashamed that they weren't on the list before. UPDATE: We have added five new films to our best '70s movies list. This was the era of the first blockbusters, the era when the likes of Scorsese, Spielberg and Coppola found power in a new kind of filmmaking. There's so much to love about a movie that was made in the '70s. It’s a common cliché that they don’t make them like they used to but when it comes to the best 70s movies, it’s really quite true.
